Subject: I cannot apply textures or morph files to hair files

For some reason,  cannot apply textures or morph files to hair files. Does anyone have a clue to why its not working?

Bring a figure into a scene and parent the hair to it, just to be safe. A hair prop needs a figure in the scene before it can take MAT poses and perhaps morph poses as well.

When you say "a hair file" what do you mean exactly?  Do you mean a model loaded from Library -> Hair palette or hair created via the Hair Room?

Is the morph data that you're trying to load designed for the hair?  How are you trying to load it?  How does it fail to load exactly?

What steps are you taking to apply textures to hair?  Going to Materials room and plugging a texture into the hair's material, or trying to run a MATerials pose?  Is the MAT pose actually intended for the particular hair item?

Check and be sure the hair is not in the Lock position.
