Subject: Simulation through pipe

I'm going through Marks tuts and I'm attempting to apply what I've learned so far to make mud and gravel flowing through a pipeline that is cut away for a camera view.  Done that part.  What do you pros think would be best to make the gravel and rock flowing through the pipe...  particles  or using objects with the replcator for animating that?

Cheers

Hmmmm, the way I'd do it is to move an object through the pipe that has a surface replicator or two attached to create the gravel. Then you could animate the gravel rotation on the master gravel objects and get a lot of good, easy and fast motion to all of the replicated gravel on the single moving object.

Wow, thanks Mark that makes sense.  I'll give it a go.   Great tutorials by the way.  You should think of doing a book and CD combo down the road:)
