Subject: Two Things...

I would like a really evil jack in the box and a badger. I've been asking for both of these for YEARS and no one seems to be able to do it.

I did get a jack-in-the-box, but it's in rough shape. I would like a really cool one that I could put any character's head in with some really twisted textures on the box.

Then I want a badger---there's all kinds of cute fuzzy animals out there, but I want a mean and nasty one. Badgers are funny. PLEASE someone grant my Poser wishes... :)

I think Jeff (igohigh) made an evil jack-in-the-box over at RDNA.
You might look in freestuff there, or search the forums.
If that's the same one you already have, sorry!

I'm actually working on a Badger at the moment. Right now it looks strangely like a fat dog, but I've found it hard to find any good reference pictures (front/profile) on google. but i'm gonna try, at least. hehe

YAY!!! :D

Badgers rock...

Here's a few-- one from Wiki

Hopefully those will help. It's a pretty large front view.

I'll see what I can dig up for a side view

If you need any more references or anything, just IM me and I'll do any research that needs doing--or help in any way I can. :)

I was going a bit more for the Eurasian badger look. :) But those are pretty nice. :)

I'm having a bit of trouble getting the body shape quite right. it kinda always ends up looking fat.

I see one thing that could help to make it more lifelike mariamus, the crown of the forehead and dome of the head are a bit on the low side. Badgers actually have a fairly strong brow and forehead area. And also a bit broader in the face/head too. This is very cool looking! And I for one would buy him! Excellent work on the modeling. Hope my input helped a bit (*Zoo freak here!)

I must confess I haven't worked too much on him these past few days. i'm still working on a few other projects at the 3ds max course, and I'm confuddled with trying to update an ancient Mambo site, which isn't giving me an easy time. sigh

But not to worry, i'll get to it as soon as I can :)

I'm considering putting a little toony mushroom in the pack as well... Everytime I mention working on a badger, people automatically go "mushroom mushroom...." I'm being punished for knowing so many geeks. hehe
