Yep, I believe you do. IIRC, the 4.2 figure has no real morphs in it. Can't check at the moment, though.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
If you have a mouth open dial, and it isn't working correctly, then I think it very likely that you have the same installation problem with V4.2 that I did. 4.2 did not work for me until I removed all previous installs (that included all files in RuntimeLibraries!DAZVictoria 4). After removing those, and then installing V4.2 and running the updater, everything worked correctly, although it may have broken some older scene files and CR2s.
All the epressions are in the base injections morphs. If you acquired the base version of V4.2 you should have them (just checked), But you have to inject them to make them work, you can find those morphs in the pose directory, under the DAZ-victoria4 subdir. I don't if your new with Victoria 4.2 so perhaps this is superfluous.
I usually inject all Base morphs. It's makes a heavier files, but at least I don't have to look up at the morphs in the directory, I believe their is a script that removes all the redundant morphs in the freestuff.

Bopper.

I had an install problem that acted just like Pakled describes - dial up some of the morphs very high, and you would see a little bit of change on the face but obviously not what was intended (see above)
*-Do I have to have the morphs or injections to even do something this simple?
I think the answer is yes, I didn't want to be patronizing, it's just not my nature, but sometimes i don't know how much experience people have. I know a lot of people had difficulties with V4.2 at the beginning due to installationproblems, when V4.0 or V4.1 was already installed.
Pakled? I don't if you're still here, but I had the impression this was your first try with V4.2, at least you said you didn't had V4.0 or V4.1 So you couldn't had those installationproblems!
V4.0 and V4.1 came with all the morphs installed , but with the release of V4.2 DAZ came with the brilliant (sic) idea to have the morphs separated from the body (ouch, that sounds painfull!) just like V3 had. I doesn't harm to unInstall and reïnstall the whole package again like pjz99 said, but you need the base morphs to make some expressions.
Best regards,
Bopper.

I've been using various incarnations of Vickie through the years; 1RR,1,3,3RR, and now 4.2.
I realize that injections/morphs/whatchamacallits are necessary to do a lot of the characters out there. I have a simpler problem.
How to you get her mouth to open? I found a dial for it, moved both jaws, but I just get this mildly annoyed face, instead of a frightened look. I would think that if you opened the mouth to '2', you'd at least get a peek...;)
