pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease???

(sorry, me again... )

Installing content now... -literally hundreds of things-
Cornucopia installer works fine (though installs as administrator/achitecture/large buildings etcetera), BUT... can't figure out how to install 'myself'. Since Vue 6 is an update, it's on the same drive (D) as Vue 5 Infinite.
On D I now have 'Program Files ( x 86)', containing e-onsoftware > Vue 5 Inf & Curious Labs & e frontier. I also have 'Program Files', containing Vue 6 Inf.
When opening Vue 5 in Windows Explorer I find everything I need: objects, atmos, plants, materials... and more.
When opening Vue 6 I don't... just application, modules, ................ things like that.

Did you direct Vue 6 64 bit updates to the same folder as previous 32 bit version(s) of Vue?
Vue 6 is working and activated, so I thought so far, so .... ;-D
Do you think deleting & re-installing would help???
Do I have to direct it into the same program files?

Some advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
THX? ;-D

Are you on Vista?
If so, you need to run Vue as administrator. Right click the .exe file, and choose "open as administrator".

On my system, vista 64, Vue 6 default path for CONTENT etc (not the program), is:

C:userdocumentse-on softwarevue 6 infinite

just COPY (dont' "move") stuff in there from Vue 5 documents?
Do it bit by bit (don't over write newer materials, for example so don't copy entire folders, copy just folder contents, individual files).

you can also set additonal TEXTURE folders, in Vue, FIle--->options-->Operations -->"Additional texture map folders"
(so I point it to my texture collection folder on C: )

Vista ultimate 64 lets you, when copy an identical item, it will let you copy over, not copy or rename copy to something like COPY (2), which is very handy, also lets you tick a button and it wil do same thing for all further choices in this one action.

Like if you copy 100 vue materials, into a folder with same materials, but you want to over write them, you can tick "Do this for all of these actions" and hit the COPY OVER button (very neat feature imho).
The Rename copy fucntion rules, case you screw up (which I do a lot, lol), file is still copied but doens't over write.
