Subject: Loading a poser exported tiff

What I am trying to figure out and so far for the life of me I cant, is I know when I export a rendered image in poser that is on a solid background as a .tif file it is technicaly on a transparent background what I am trying to figure out is how do I load said file into PS CS2 with a transparent background?

Viper,
     If I remember correctly, there won't be a transparent background, but there will be an alpha in your channels that would allow you to make a selection and copy it to a new layer.  After that you can turn off or delete the original layer.

I think if you export as a png it comes into PS without a background
