Hi mjustmike and thanks for the kind comment:) I downloaded a really cool free utility called Grouper yesterday (see the Bryce forum for the thread) which makes texturing the models in Vue 2 a doddle now (bryce too for that matter) What it does is convert the obj file so that you are only left with the materials that you need to texture eg: skinhead, skinbody, the same way as you would see them in Poser, also I got some very handy tips a few threads back on here about setting the transparancy to inverse saturation. I just wish there were more solid growth plants available for Vue 2! I'm resisting upgrading until V4 comes out and am keeping my fingers crossed that there's going to be loads more plants with it:) BTW does anyone know if any of the ones for sale on E-on's web site will work in V2? I downloaded the free ones but the carex one won't work :(

Hi Alla, I'm looking at the date of the downloaded vegetation files I have, and I'd say there's got to be at least 10 or so that came out before Vue 3 (i.e. compatible with Vue 2). Some are paying, some are free...It's possible that you have the free ones on your CD already. Here's a list of the downloaded vegetations that I *think* are compatible with Vue 2. Don't take this as fact, check with e-on first: Cactus WinterPear LongGrass Aucuba Yucca Poplar Kentia Walnut BonnyClump Sonneratia Hope this helps, -karlThanks Karl:) I'll have to check those out esprcaly the walnt it looks great for a center piece tree!

Earlier on I uploaded my first decent fully Vue 2 image to the gallery, I think I'm starting to get the hang of it now:) I'm really blown away by the way the textures of the poser figures render in Vue as compared to bryce, which always looks kind of flat in my stuff. I't so much easier to use than Bryce too - I fired up Bryce while this one was rendering, and forgot that there are no "rotate" handles or double clicking on objects and textures to edit them, looks like Bryce is gonna be gathering some dust....:)www.ladyfyre-graphics.com
