I guess I really need to learn more about how to use the digital camera. I'm kinda happy with this but had a tough time capturing what I saw on "film".

you did very well. it seems real enough to touch the water on the leaves.

Well, I was excited to actually make time to take pictures .. I guess it's in the composition. With the digital camera I often find that I get a whole lot more than I anticipated. Not that that can't be corrected with cropping but the subject could have been a better resolution. I also "saw" my focus on the extreme foreground with some blurring of the background -- enough to make the foreground stand out more. That didn't happen. I know that when I came in and uploaded the photos I was disappointed. Like I said, I didn't get what I "saw". But maybe I expect too much of myself sometimes and getting what I see will come with practice and time. Thanks! :)

wow, those drops are making me thirsty, very good shot. and IMHO the background is blurred enough to benefit your subject plant rather well as it is. ;-)

I think Vkharito is right.....its really beautiful. You know I have the same problem, take a bunch of things, come back and look at them and go UGH! But your ughs are pretty danged good.
