Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 7:34 pm)
->1/ You just crank the sliders for mist and haze up till you get the desired effect?
->2/Many extern programs, that create image based terrains have a good amount of details to the terrain. But in reality, most terrain is so full of vegetation that much detail often isn't seen.
For more answers, you must ask a more accurate question.
1/ If you're talking about spectral atmospheres, you have to change the "aerial perspective" value to about 30, you have to input the value manually, because the slider only goes up to 10.
This parameter is in the "sky fog & haze" tab of the atmosphere editor.
2/ Use procedural terrains. You have a collection of procedural terrain altitude functions that come with Vue. Apply these function in the terrain editor.

Dear Friend: 1/How can I set a fog/mist volumetric atmosphere in Vue? I am having problems with not having enough fog and haze in my Vue scenes. 2/ Can I get a tip on how to create realistic terrains in Vue? Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Fidelity2.
