Actually bobbystahr, I did take the inititive and upgrade a while back when it was only $19 (I think) So I do indeed have that little 'convert' button. :-)
Thanks ICM, I knew about the 'c' button but it didn't click....(my brain that is....having a lot of problems with that lately. When one gets past 50 life is supposed to start again, but for me I'm still waiting for that to happen... ........jeez, I don't know why i'm laughing.
I've heard 60 is the new 30 and for me that's baaad news as I had no brain at all at 30...all lower portion organs at that age I'm afraid....least they all still work at 60 so maybe there's hope for my love life...LOL.. ...

While the mesh is uncollapsed (or unconverted) you can still move the objects doing the cutting, combining or whatever - or the object being cut or combined to - but once converted, it's easier to see what's going on but there's no going back...
Unless. like me, you saved every few moves or so... under a differently named bryce file, like "MakingACup1.br6" and "MakingACup2.br6" and 3 and 4... etc
Makes for a lot of files but can be life-saving sometimes.

When I connect a positive primitive to a negative primitive, one can still see the part that has been cut away. Now, this renders ok, but in wireframe mode it's still there. Is there a way to turn it off? I doubt there is, but if you don't ask, you don't find out.
