I received on my old renderosity email an email from someone saying that had this website and if I would like to sell my art?

Has anyone else received  this from a site called http://www.artbreak.com/.

To top it off the cheeky bugger says  you sell the work then send it and I get 7.5% commission, NOT BLOODY LIKELY.

Anyone heard of this Zack block and is he a former member of Renderosity, as I haven't signed up to any new places which means they sold my old renderosity email address to spammers.

If any admin wants a copy let me know and I will forward the whole thing, and send an original copy of the message too.  If there is one thing I hate is spammers, I am going to report his site for spamming right now.

I know that, I just reported the idiot, what I wanted to know is where the hell did he get my email address and if he is a former artist or member from here.  I report spam all the time.

where he got it from you will never know...
And nobody is going to invest time and money to find out..

here in Holland 2 dudes got A nice 700.000 dollar fine for spamming...
Now thats a nice ticket to get in the mail.... :woot:

Thats not an unusual commision if his site handles the payment processing.   it sounds a bit like yessy.com , you have a gallery from which you can sell and if the site handles the payment processing they charge a commission .

The email spam thing would be annoying though.

word to poser users (or other 3d users): don't fall for any commission scheme from somebody
who registers his website with a fake address and fake phone number.  any payment promises
may be just as fake.

I got the same email on the address I used to use here.  I still use it, mainly, but switched to my gmail address for this site due to all the spam that I only got when I used it here.  (stopped using it here and the spam all went away)

I looked the domain up and he also has over 70 domains registered under that name.   After seeing that I quit looking at the site.
