I found a free jacket in 3ds format I would like to put on Micheal 3 with his morphs.  Could anyone tell what is needed and a tutorial on how to do that?

First identify if you want to make it a conforming clothing or a dynamic clothing or a hybrid.

For dynamic clothing I recommend going to:

www.poserfashion.net

For conforming:

www.poserpro.net

and look at the tutorials a-z and click on clothing creation.

In case you get problems like pointing mesh:

Hybrid:

For putting morphs on it, you can get yourself some of PhilC's Wardrobe Wizard in

http://www.philc.net/tutorialsIndex.htm

another way is putting folds and gravity on it using the cloth room and creating morph targets.
