Subject: Still Images and Rendercows

I know theoretically how rendercows work for animations (I have not used them recently). Can they be a time saver for still images or because of the way they assign frames, not useful for still images? I know I could perform tests, but it would be easier to use others' experience in this matter.

Don't think that would fit into my computer!

Rendercows are timesavers also for stills, Paula, provided you create your final image with them. It is not useful and even slower for  test renders.
Paul, is this really a cow? looks like a camel to me in such a close-up!
