The MarketPlace Wishing Well F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 19 6:06 am)
Have an idea for a MarketPlace product? Would you like to let the MarketPlace Merchants know?
This is the place!
Make sure you check The Product Showcase Forum and The Product Showcase Art Gallery.
Not in the marketplace, but in freestuff: my V4 Warrior outfit. The cape comes in two versions: conforming+EasyPose and conforming/dynamic hybrid.
I'm working on a marketplace product which will have similar options.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
Thanks Svdl,
It is the only thing I have not downloaded from your free stuff, I have all your other stuff just so you know:) It is masterful workmanship, I use them in many of my images, thank you!
I look forward to seeing and using your new product, I'm sure it will be excellent just like your free stuff. It is good that you have made the choice to sell your stuff, judging by you free stuff I'm sure it will be well worth it.
Now what do the other merchants have to say? Still no comment?
Thanks Markschum,
This is very good info, as I have no experience or I should say very little experience at model creation. I have heard about this but could not find any info on the subject.
This sounds very simply and straight forward for objs that are in one piece. This is something I can do. Thank you very much!
What does it take to join a mesh if the item falls apart? Or is this heading into the subject of model creation? If this is the case, that will have to be something I learn in the future.
Anyway, thanks for the info Markschum.
Select the "weld" option during OBJ import. This will weld together adjacent body parts if they have been modeled with seams.
Assign "loose" items to either the soft or ridged decorated group. This will keep them in place during a cloth room simulation.
The tutorials listed on this page may help:-

Thank you PhilC, I did play around with objs on the weekend and found it very interesting. But I still need too experiment with more objs a bit more before I create something.
Dynamics is such a great tool and it produces the most realistic effects, it is so cool.
Your info is going to help greatly, I did not have anything fall apart because I was experimenting with one piece objs. But this info by the sounds of it will take this a bit higher. Great stuff!
I will be looking into your tutorials also at a later time.
Thank you very much.

Hi to all the merchants,
What I would like too see is conforming products with their dynamic counterparts.
It would be nice to see some merchants supplying a copy of their conforming clothing in a dynamic cloth format.
I know this can not be done with all products but if it can be, what is the reason for not doing it?
From what I have seen in the galleries, a few of us users would would really appreciate this.
Creators, please support your dynamic cloth users. :)
