TheBryster pointed out that the roof tiles on the watermill where wrongly rotated. The following statement is in view of this.

.....Just took a look at the original texture of the roof tiles and it is an optical illusion, they do seem to be correct.
Since the original texture was square and the roof is oblong, I can only assertain that the original shape has caused a temporal polarity shift in the viewers sensory oculation.
This in turn has caused the transient ocular nerve between the eye and the brain that controls the spacial geometry of any given object....... and produces a marked spacial appearence in the unusual elongated tile.
I have found through experience that a few beers, although they won't correct the spacial difference, will serve as a distraction, giving the user the ability to completely disregard this phenomenon.

 Thankyou.

**Glastonbury Tor Tower ** is approved the rest to follow one per day.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

One per day? How so?

dhama ( ) posted Mon, 30 June 2008 at 6:06 PM

Why does it take a day to do one..... i've placed all three at 3D commune and they were all ready  for download instantly........ why so long?

bobbystahr ( ) posted Mon, 30 June 2008 at 6:40 PM · edited Mon, 30 June 2008 at 6:44 PM

We have a free stuff limit of 3 uploads but only 1 approval per 24 hr period. You would know this if you had read the upload page top to bottom.
Sorry if I'm appearing snappy about this but it seems no one reads the rules BEFORE they do things and complain about the way it's done after and I gotta deal with em all...sigh...Rant Off.. ...

How difficult can it be to approve all of them in one go? I'm offering free stuff, and all you can do is quote rules in a snappy rant at me.
I spent a couple of hours preparing them for free stuff and uploading them at shareaec, if you can't do better than this then I won't upload any more here!

Hey, dhama.. Calm down... Thank you for the freebies. It doesn't matter when they are approved but they are here and your intention and your heart are in the best place. Please don't be mad at bobbie... His hands are tied by the owner's rules and regulations.  Only following orders, ok? If you got to be mad, be mad at the owner of this site, not bobbie. Okay?

I have had no reasonble explanation why they can't be all approved together, no matter what it says in the rules, If 3D Commune can do it, why is there so much problem here?

ThunderStone ( ) posted Tue, 01 July 2008 at 6:26 AM

Maybe you could take it up with the owner of Renderosity? Maybe they have a good or bad reason for not doing so... They could explain it better to you. It wouldn't hurt you to take the issue up with them but please do so in a nice way... We don't want to lose a fine Brycer like you.

dhama the rules were put in place due to some people abusing the system. It is them that have made it this way. They had to put into place some rules and this is what the whole team agreed on. It is the people who abuse the system that cause these kind of rules to be put in place so don't be mad at Bobby he is only doing his job. :O)

Thanks Sandy... but perhaps bobbystahr being a moderator could word his reply with a little more tact, and thus avoid frustrating the issue. 😉

And this is for those that had abused the system making it more frustrating for those that don't. :cursing:
