Figured this is the appropriate place to post this, but if not, mods please move where needed. :)

I'm going to be in Phoenix/Scottsdale for a week later this summer and since I've never been, would like some recommendations to check out some live music (rock/hard rock).

Anyone from the area have some fave hangouts to suggest?

Check out areas in Tempe (not far) I'm born and raised on the Phx, Scottsdale border near Camelback, but haven't been back in years.  Tempe being a College town though should have some rocking clubs still.

There used to be some great places in downtown Phx, warehouse district some were a bit rough though, I never minded but some do. :-)

Hey thanks LadySilverMage, I will definitely check out downtown, we're gonna be in Scottsdale at the Phoenician, looks like it's close to a lot of stuff on the Google map. I used to hang out in West Virginia biker bars, so I'll feel right at home in the rough clubs. :)
