I have just bought Vue 6 (Easel) on the strength of it doing so, and all the included documentation says it will. But the only thing I have tried so far is to import a Poser 7 static scene for local rendering in Vue 6, which worked fine.

On importing a Poser scene (.pz3) there are options to use the Poser 7 shading tree when rendering, and to pose the figure from within Vue. Both of these options use a Vue 6 - Poser 7 plugin. If you deselect these options, it converts the meshes to Vue and you can't do those things.

Hope this helps :O)

Perhaps I should have mentioned.. the Vue 6 documentation also points out (repeatedly) that using the Vue - Poser plugin is VERY heavy on resources, and if it's already a complex Poser scene there is a good chance it will crash Vue. They warn you, so I guess it's to be expected....

(Edit)

Hmm, I just realised sumtin' - I sort of assumed it was Vue you were thinking of upgrading, but I guess it could be Poser, in which case most of the above you probably already know.

Yes Poser 7 works very well in Vue. I've used poser 7 with Vue6 Espirt, Vue 6 Pro studio and now using P7 in Vue 6 Infinite with very good results. Of course as with using poser with complex scenes in poser itself there are also tricks you can learn when using poser in Vue6 to help out on heavy resourced scenes. I invite you to check out the Vue forum here and the forums over at Cornucopia.

Also if you run a computer with a 64-bit operating system all the better as Vue 6 runs well on it as many in the Vue forums that do run Vue 6 on a 64-bit app will agree. I run Vue 6 on windows xp 32 with 4 gigs of ram and Vue runs very well.
