Not really advice, just information on what I do myself:
PS: in general, a very good rule of thumb is: keep programs and data separate, both on locally-connected (fast-access) disks, and if possible on separate disks.

yes, please !
my artists friends! how do you manage your growing 'runtime'? now in a state of being seated in an USB HD and because of that quite slow to reach etc..
I decided to have more space in my sata HD and I'm thinking to move all that is in the external disc to the main hd (where also is poser.exe)...ONLY one concern...case I have a problem in the OS or a trojan/virus etc..is it safe or clever to have it there 'cheek to cheek' w/Poser.exe?
Accepting solutions or examples of what are you doing.
My past experience told me to have multi- runtime i the Main Poser. Works fine for me. Since I have to activate the USB driver to acess the 'others'...has a the hassle of speed lost...you know..etc..
Thanks to advise me cleverly.
well waiting to make next move.
