How ar elooking the UVmap for the ship body? Looks that the texture is getting stretched in the front... and you have a lot of polygons here

What I normally do is I create a spline object, then set up the first rib to be what it needs to be for the back of the object. I them create a single section for the front end. I separate these two parts, go to the back end section and create multiple cross sections, for each point in the model that needs a shape change. I then set each frame to skin shape to shape and modify each section accordingly. For the frontmost section on this particular model, it only has 2 points which are both located at 0,0 on the grid to give the sharp point. To me it looks like the texture is being stretched and dog eared some how.
Well, I wasn't getting anywhere with redoing the UV Map, so I decided to do something drastic on the off chance that is might work. I brought in the spline version of the object which was just as messed up as the vertex version. Then I deleted the cross section which was second from the front. I then used the one right behind it and created another section in the same rough place that the problem one was. After playing around with the geometry to get it to the right shape, I copied the cross section with all of it's nodes. I then went to the next section which is the one in the front where the nodes converge and selected all of the nodes and deleted them. I then pasted the copied section in, effectively duplicating the second section at the tip of the ship. I then systematically retracted the manip handles from each one and move them to position 0,0. And ya know, it worked! I don't see what could have been the issue but I noticed in only affected the skin between the 1st and 2nd sections and then only on one side. I guess Carrara has issues with some kinds of geometry under certain conditions. Anyways, thanks for all the suggestions. Now that this is sorted out, I hope to have this on the marketplace soon.
