Have a look at this page http://www.morphography.uk.vu/fileguide_1.html to explain where everything goes.

It should show up in your figures library as it is a conforming figure, rather than a hair prop. So you would load it in to your scene from Figures->Felicity Hair and then conform it to the figure.

Just downloaded to look at the files:

If you have unzipped it to your main Poser runtime as it is... then it will not appear in the hair section of Poser.

It will install to the Figures section as... Felicity Hair.

The colour options will be in the Poses section as... MAT Felicity Hair.

Please don't drive over any cliffs... jump... and leave your car to me

There is lots and lots of information in there including where to put your files, and even some tutorials.

Santinocorleone,

I would also recommend this utility:

http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=61876&
Content installer is a great program that I've used to re-install my content directories and manage my runtimes. Essentially, I reached the point of "hit the self-destruct button and start fresh in the morning" and being able to automate the installs into the appropriate directory for any installer was a great benefit to me.  I now have 15 runtimes all properly organized.

And no, I don't get any kickbacks for recommending the program :)

at least acadia has started linking to her reply instead of retyping it all the time :)  her little paws musta got tired :)

properly zipped files show a folder path starting with runtime , and should be extracted to the poser folder that CONTAINS the runtime folder.   If it doesnt then you extract to a work folder and move the runtime folder manually .

:P

I tend to only repost it if I'm adding or changing something to it. if it's just passing it along, I mostly just link to the most current version.

Online Now!

Hair - can be either Cr2, PP2 or just plain old HR2.

So, looking in all three places might just save your sanity.

I thought the kitty was just a head, like the ones in Futurama!

I do the old 'tried and true' method. I make a folder on the Hard drive in general, then unzip all the files there. The good ones will have directories included in the correct places, the bad ones will just sort of shotgun all over the place...;)

Once you have a load read to go (all unzipped/rar'd/whatevah...;), you open the runtime folder in Poser (I'm old-fashioned...;), shovel the Geometries from the folder where you unzipped things into the Geometries folder in Poser's runtime, same for textures, libraries, yada yada.

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Thanks everybody

I am much calmer now.

Thanks for the good link, raven.

What is very thoughtful of most suppliers, and what i found confusing, is when different file formats  are supplied for the same item  in one zip folder. I guess this is so you can choose your method for employing the content.... I like pakled's idea  of having one dump zone  for "all things downloaded",  then fishing thru for the particualr file format  of the item you want,  and then placing it in the proper related library area of Poser.

Thanks
