If you are using V4.2, any V4 textures should work on her.
Here is a lovely drow character for V4

"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
In the material room, there should be a color box next to the diffuse color line towards the top (I'm at work so I can't give you a detailed walk through atm)
Click on the little color box (it's probably white if you've applied a texture to the figure already) and a color picker should pop up. Click again to select the color you want. This will then render the texture with your color overlay change also.
Might take some experimenting to find a color that will work for the exact look you want, but that's a simple & quick way to play around with things.
Also, once you have a color/texture combo that works how you want it....you can then save it to your P7 materials library as a material collection for one click application in the future. --> while in the materials room, you should see a little plus icon ( + ) down at the bottom of the library menu. Click on that, select Material Collection at the next box, name it, and then save to the library.
Crazy alien chick FTW! (yeah....right....)

The material room only seems scary right at first. It does take some getting used to...but once you do, it's actually a fun place to dink around. Never know what you're going to come up with. I think some of my funnest materials were experiments gone wrong.
Just last night I was trying for a Marta (ST:TOS) looking chick....and ended up with She-Hulk cause my green tint went the wrong direction. So I got to play around with two green tinted ladies.

yup i'm gonna have to get to the the material room a load better it's sooo interesting now that i have been doing a lot of tutorials on it :-) yup drow are really dark it was the only comparison i could think of though lol sorry hehehe :-) i finally just grayscaled her skin jpgs for the model and was satisfied :-)
In the material room, unplug the skin texture from Diffuse_Color. Plug it into Diffuse_Value instead. Instant gray-scale.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

hi i have a model and i need gray skin for her she is based off of v4.2 but she has a body morph etc. i tried opeining up her texture mats for her skin and body in photoshop but i am a total noob at how to change her skin into a gray color i've tried using adjustments in photoshop etc.... by opening up the skin pic files but they don't look quite right and the material nodes in poser 7 looks like a nightmare room.
i have seen some great drow skin in the stores here on render. but they won't fit another model right?? Are there any tutorials on just changing the skin color of an existing model ....
