Subject: Distributing Head Morphs for DAZ figures question

Does anyone know what the procedure is for making head morphs available for DAZ figures in a way that doesn't violate DAZ's copyright on the figures?  I'm not talking about face files, but an actual morph.

In the stone age of Poser, people distributed .obj files that you then applied to the head of the figure, but I know that's not how it's done any longer.  I have a couple of other character heads I would like to put up in Free Stuff and don't want to ruffle anybody's feathers.  I'm specifically interested in information about Vicky 3 and Mike 3.

Either distribute as a simple Pz2 or make and inj/rem pose file.  Morph you figure and save it to the pose folder.  When you are if you want to keep the morphs check ok and save.

If you want to make an inj/rem pose, you can do it a number of different ways.  Thorne has a tutorial at FarieWylde on how to do it in a text editor.  It's not easy but once you learn it, you don't need anything else to do.

Dimension3D has a python app that will create inj/rem poses.  DAZ sells Injection Pose Builder and Injection Magic.

Try Posers little helper : home.online.no/~kjellil/Index-AllStuff.htm
And here´s a tutorial how to use it: www.daz3d.com/i.x/tutorial/tutorial/-/tutorial
This works for custom made morphs in 3d-applications.
If you want to redistribute a morph made by dial twisting you have to use injection pose builder because it´s against DAZ copyright to distribute morphs based on their morph packages.
