I Was rendering a large image at 300 dpi and everything was going just fine for several hours than I get this runtime error message which caused the program to crash! 

what caused this? the only thing I did today while rendering was respond to email.

FWIW, the only time I see this particular error is when a Python script runs wild.
Were you running any Python?  Perhaps a render-pass control script?

no python, but using AO on everything and someone suggested in another forum to clear the cache.

I had this problem and I think the LibraryPrefs.xml had gotten messed up when I was editing it. Either I had a back up or I deleted it and let poser remake it. If you do that, you'll have to add all your external runtimes again
