Subject: May we tell about freebies at other places in the forum?

 I have a furred freebie released today at Content Paradise. But I'm not sure we are alowed to tell about it here? Anyone have a clue?

I think if it's your own item, you need to post the details in the -> Freestuff forum.
Somebody not connected in any way to the item can post here ;)

The worst that will happen is the mods will move your thread to where it's supposed to be.

Yep, you can announce your freebie releases in the Free Stuff forum, regardless of where you have them hosted.  But the rest of us who aren't creators can announce them anywhere.
