Subject: a Hound thats not keen on the Vets anymore...

we had to take Smiley to the vet today... he started having trouble with his back end last night.. we dunno whats going on, but he's in discomfort....
  
so.. we get him there... Mary the vet starts examining him and she decides to 'express' his glands at the back....
 
so... we're holding him... it's dead quiet and suddenly he flinches and gives this huge loud outraged -

AAAAWWOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAGHHHHHH!!!!!!

brought the entire surgery to a halt.... we're all laughing... just could'nt help it...

LOL. I think I would make a similar sound if someone started messing with my anal glands...

One of our cats has the same problem.

Curiously though - WE are the ones giving out an outraged AAAAWWOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAGHHHHHH when the stentch of her gland discharge comes out in the room :)
