Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 26 2:05 pm)
I don't use D/S, but perhaps it's better to asks this in the D/S forums, since you may get a lot more D/S users there to test it.
Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(
Food for thought.....

Just a couple of issues:
There is a missing file: GlassEnvironmentMap.png
I had to locate the screen textures. They are hard coded to "program files/e frontier/runtime..."
(That would probably effect others versions of Poser too!)
To get the 'glass' screen to show it needed a non-zero opacity (around 10%)
OK, so thats three issues

Thanks for the replay's.
I will look into the issues you mention and see if I can figure them out to get it working properly.
b.t.w it looks good in D|S.

I didn't mean ya had to like it...it's just if you want to test creations in that environment, there's nothing holding you back from having it to experiment with...;)
I have it too, and keep updating it, and never using it...but you never know, someday I may need it for something...;)
I wonder if you wanted to make a different version for Daz, you could just create a folder where Daz is looking for it, and put a copy of the file there as well. Then zip to taste (or rar, or 7zip, or whatever...;)
Just a thought.
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
anahl nathrak uth vas betude doth yel dyenvey..;)
Pakled, getting D|S for testing is a good idea.
Unfortunaly I dont have the needed space at the moment to install, but I will do it when I made some space.
For the missing map for non Poser 7 users, I see if I can get a better glass shader without using that map or make a own map and include it in the package.
This also should work better for D|S users.
Or I include a diferent file in the package for D|S users.
About the hard coding of the textures.
I have to look into it how I can change that.
From the top of my head, I can change that in the file myself, but I have to search around the forum about the "how to".
Curently I dont have much time becouse of work, but as soon as I have done the changes I update the download and give a heads up in this thread.
Thanks all for the input, this is great stuff to know for future freebies.

Hello all,
I just released a freebie, the sci fi transparent computer screen.
I released it as a Poser 7 prop and it uses the Poser material room settings.
Now I was wondering, can this prop be used in Daz Studio??
I dont know if D|S uses the same material setting as Poser or can read Poser prop files.
For those who want to try, you can download the screen ** here**.
Thanks for any replays.
