Hey, anyone else having this happen. It just started after I installed the poser update. I load a piece of clothing and conform it to the figure. When I click ok, poser freezes up and I have to hit Cntl/alt- delete to get out. It keeps doing it with any clothes I choose. What can be happening? I have Poser7 on windows XP. 2 gigs of ram.

Do you have a nvidia graphs card? I had problems like this, earlier due to poser & nvidia not playing nice, but mine used to crash if I conformed.

There are a few fixes if so...

1. Change to screeD rather than openGL to see if that helps, OR

2. Try the fix suggested by infinity10 in this thread HERE - "If using nVidia graphics accelerator card, switch off anisotropic, texture filttering and all other special effects for your card, using the nVidia management software."

If you have an Nvidia graphics card go into render setting/preview tab and set Transparency Display to Actual and Enhanced mutilayer checked on and texture size to 1024.

Problem should be solved.

Been having much the same issues, conform an item, poser freezes...delete a prop, poser freezes...load a background poser freezes.  Thing about it, is that it does not happen all the time but has been getting worse.  Swear it was a resourse issue but happens on the simple things (conforming hair to v4 no morphs). 

As there is a new PC in my future was wait and see but that may be another month and it is killing my interest in poser!

I will try some of the fixes and see what happens.

I have intel G express chipset. Found some updates and I will let you know if this was the problem. Thanks for the replies.

I do not know how to fix the problem but I have come up with a way to unfreeze my screen.

When it freezes, I hit the 'X' to close Poser7.  Then it asked me if I want to 'save' or not, I hit 'Cancel'.  Viola.  Screen unfrozen, back to posing.  If I get the 'End Program' prompt, I hit 'No.'

I don't get too many freezes.  When I do it is generally after a render when I am trying to return to posing mode (whatever its called).  Works every time.  But I still save frequently, just to be sure.

I had some problems with render 64 freezing but I got it to do a blank render and that seems to have fixed it???  IDonn0 what thats al about.
