Subject: Controlling Poser runtime imports into Carrara Pro?

Is there such a thing? Seems like the imports come in at strange scales (very large), but I guess it depends on the scene no? But even changing a pose on some figures will reset the scale already set on the initial import. So I am wondering if there is some info on understanding/controlling this.  I am using mostly DAZ animals in Carrara scenes...thx!!!

If you drag and drop the poser characters, they come into the scene as the perfect size for a medium scene. Some commercial poses include a re-scaling of the figure as part of the package. Example: there is a dragon package that scales the Daz dragons down to cute-cuddly pet size. There is no way to avoid this scaling in such a pose and you must re-scale it to proper size after.

Thanks sueposer! on my mac, dragging in a character always creates a new Doc, and will not go into the scene already created.  it also brings it in the same size as if i just import it.  I remember in the old days with tranposer, there was a units setting u could set that regulated the import...i think - ha! well, thanks for playing!
