I've been having problems running Poser 6 lateley. Then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that didn't help.  I have now reformatted and reinstalled and updated Poser 6.
Poser is installed on my c: drive.

The problem is, that when I loade a figuer, sometimes that is all I can do. If I minimize the program and maximize it again, I can see my desktop picture in the scene window.
It also happens when I have managed to do more than just loade the figuer, save and open again, Poser will do nothing. This happens to both the thirth and fourth generations of the figuers.

My pc spec is:

Shouldn't this be ok to run Poser 6?
Can it be some add on software that I need to upgrade?

sounds good to me . You may be having an opengl problem.  You may be able to switch to software rendering in the preview window. Right click in the preview and see if you can select sreed as the preview option. 

You could also check your video card driver for the latest version.
