I apologize for being a pest, and I only ask these questions after I've poured through the manual. I tried doing a simple render using one of P7's IBL lighting options and everything came out white (see attached), as if all I'm getting are the bump maps or something. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong.

looks like you have a light set waaaay too high.  The IBL light should be very low power

Does the preview look okay, with the right textures?

This looks like an Ambient Occlusion only render pass to me. Check your render settings. Make sure you don't have Shadows Only switched on.

FrankT, I'll give that a try, but this is a Poser7 light right out of the box, an indoor setting, in fact. Seems it would have a somewhat moderate setting to begin with.
