Okay, I do a background render, export it as a tiff,  import it into my new scene, do a new render, looks great. Then I export the new tiff and when I view it my background pic is gone. What gives?

Was it (bg pic) scaled larger than your render before you imported it? This used to work fine in Poser5...

Tif will not bring the background with it, even if it is a saved one.  Tif brings the object and an alpha layer.  Try saving the new render out as a JPG or as a BMP at full quality.

Yep. My bad. I used to do this (import tiff as layers) all day long. Now it's just misinformation.
