Subject: Advertising Models that are for sale elsewhere.
Indeed as a confirmation from one of the 'staff' who have to deal with these things, this is not allowed...but very wise of you ask up front before you actually did it...wish more members thought ahead like that.. ...

I dunno here your reading comprehension is at esyther, but you might have noticed I also am a Moderator and we all know the same "truths" about this subject. Renderosity does not, in any form, allow advertising of models,textures, and a large ETC. not from Renderosity's Market Place in any part of any post here on site.
If you are, as it seems, just stirring the pot because you're bored might I advise that that is a negative path with a bad destination.. ...

The original request by UncleBob is for any of us modelers who broker at other sites to place a notification on these forums when we release products on other sites that are not put into this Marketplace. Uncle Bob made the same request on a Cornucopia3d Forum.
Same answer - bobystahr is more than correct - Almost every brokering site known to me prohibits vendors from doing this kind of thing.
People who want to purchase models must search each site they know of for new models they might be interested in. It is possible to keep a set of bookmarks to aid in this. Or, if you like the work of a particular modeller, send them an e-mail and ask them to send you an e-mail whenever they release a new model.
The OP also posted at Daz before posting here with the same question, so odds are that since Daz is less commercially minded, he might have thought it was ok here as well.
Daz is the exception to the rule on this matter though.

After consultation with the Poser folk this is what I have for you in terms of a final statement:
"the TOS is what it is, and the fact that the Poser team was lenient UNTIL NOW [note the past tense and time frame] does not mean that the rest of the site has to follow suit"

Hi, sorry but I looked on the TOS and couldn't find any info regarding signature lines. That was why I thought you must have made a mistake. Also because lots of people have sig lines to their websites. Not trying to stri the pot. Just interested in clarification.
