A case which is worth knowing about can be found in a report HERE

This is particularly relevant to Hentai and Anime of a particular sort.

Its particularly interesting because it is very similar to a recent Australian court ruling.

anime and hentai sometimes cause controversy at some of these poser gallery sites.
it's part of a trend towards stricter punishment of pedophiles, in recognition that children
have rights that must be protected. such protection was not afforded to them in the
past, and is still lacking in some societies.  I suppose one analogy might be that
somebody e-mailing graphic cartoons of mobs lynching blacks could also be
found guilty of committing a crime that infringes on the rights of a group whose
rights were ignored in the past.

What you failed to mention that he also received images of actual children too.

Banning child porn is completely correct - banning hentai and anime and calling that child porn is completely gaga.
