Subject: Canon responds to 5D MarkII problems

Hopefully it can be fixed via firmware updates.....

The second issue sounds like a software problem to me. I would assume they are looking at the code of the specific format where the issue is happening..

I'm not sure what to think about the black dot issue from the article..
There may be a software work around for that, but I think it may be  a sensor issue..
