Subject: FAQ for content mangement?

twitchew ( ) posted Thu, 01 January 2009 at 3:28 PM · edited Tue, 26 November 2024 at 12:02 PM

i have recently come back to poser (7) and installed EVERYTHING.
now i want to get rid of this and keep my space from becoming an unholy mess.

is there some trick to removing a figure and associated files? or am i just screwed?

any FAQ on tidy content areas?

Uninstall poser, delete everything and start fresh.

You've already created a huge mess, and that's the only wayh toi really clean things up properly.

of you delete everything in runtime/libraries , runtime/geometries and runtime/textures you will get most of it . It may be neater overall just to reinstall . and plan your runtimes .

thanks guys.
i am reinstalling from minimum.
there may be some content like p4 that could come in handy. i take it there is not much i can do about this...

nuking from space, very appropriate.

install the old p4 stuff elsewhere, and just link it as an additional runtime.
