Subject: Help: Weird!!! Poser Trackball & Move in Z only pan!!

SimonWM ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2009 at 4:03 AM · edited Tue, 30 July 2024 at 5:42 AM

Suddenly the trackball is only going side to side and up and down (panning) but doesn't turns the scene around as it used to, I cant go far away in Z either using the four hand icon, it only pans the screen. Only by going into the camera sliders can I turn around or back away.  I have been using Poser for years and I had never seen this bug. This is Poser Pro which I have had installed for many months now.  I'm scratching my head trying to find out what is going on because I haven't installed new software and it was working fine the last time I used it.

This has happned to me too when I have watched streaming video. Several applications react on this. Vue crash renders for example.
So do not watch streaming video while the app is on (rendering or such).

Thanks for the lead.  I had youtube open in another windows so that makes sense. Weird that after posting this message and going back to poser it fixed itself so its working fine now.

:scared: ___It has something to do with the video drivers ...
The next time that happens ... try pressing the "spacebar" on your keyboard.
It seems to yank Poser back to reality. 😄
