Click on the attach a file box [Choose File] highlighted and navigate, etc.

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

mark, it's imagename.jpg
  AFAIK
e.g. drag the image into the html editor, or click "source" and paste the above text in editor.

k, thanks , I will try again laters , I thought maybe the pic had to be on rosity site or something.

Quote - ... or something.

The something is that the site hosting the image has to allow direct (also known as hot) linking.
Many hosting services don't allow this, but if the one your using does, there may be hit rate and/or bandwidth limits to contend with.

I use photobucket , and they supply links for various uses , I havent had a problem elsewhere but using the image box here doesnt seem to work for me , it disappears when I post

Can you take a screenshot of how you're entering the image into the post editor, and I'll see if I can spot the problem?

Well you ca't just put "ordinary img tags in the TEXT here. You have to open that pesky image editor thingie. I really wish we could just type in the paaropriate html or BB-code, whatever works here. You could, back before the new Rosity sorftware. Back then it was plain HTML, now I'm not sure

See, neither works when just typed in. But using the editor, it appears just fine. And I may be awkward but I actually find typing in the actual code to an URL faster than navigating to whereever the picture is stored on my harddisk...

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

To type in real HTML tags (the ones that are allowed) you have to click on the "Source" button to put the editor into raw mode.
