Subject: Jack Rabbit

I am looking for a good Rabbit model. DAZ has none, Renderosity has none and CLCP has a cute little bunny. What I really want is a big old Jack Rabbit. If you have seen one let me know if you are good at creating such things perhaps you might be interested. Apparently there is no competition since I couldn't find one anywhere.

There's a baby rabbit at Content Paradise that you might be able to scale up to use.

Actually the Zodiac Rabbit is more realistic and it is the one I will likely get if I can't find what I am looking for. What I am really hoping to find though is a very realistic North American Jack rabbit, ya know a big nasty bunny :-)

this would be exactly what I am looking for it it was 3D :-) A good old Texas Bunny

Have you tried this older, free one from Capsces?

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and requires the P3/P4 cat.

It has to be the P3 cat, I tried to apply it to the P4 cat and it doesn't work :-( Too bad it looked good :-)

Supposedly free but only an .obj model.

I dont know what version of poser you are using but "cathip3.obj" was available in Poser 5,

RuntimeGeometriescatHicatHiP3.

That is all the Poser 7 asks for when i load rabbit.pz3.

Just thougth I give you a hint if you have Poser 5 laying on a shelf.

Hey, are you going to be making a jackalope by any chance ?  :)

mapps ( ) posted Thu, 19 February 2009 at 6:29 AM

I do actually have Poser 5, I am currently using 7. I will I may even have 5 installed on the old PC Thanks :-) Too bad the rabbit texture shown in the thumb is not included.

Actually I am making a 50 pound man eating bunny with saber teeth and 6 inch talons :-) I'm not kidding that really is why I am looking a jack rabbit :-)

Be sure to post it when you are finished....that sounds awesome.  :)

Does kind of sound like something up your alley :-)

It is called a "Millaget" and it is a beast in a RPG I wrote. My buds call them "Psyco Wolverine Bunnies". I am currently in the process of converting all the pictures of the beasts from water-colour pencil sketches to 3D images. I like the 3D's better as they seem to fit the mood of the SciFi-RPG :-) I've posted a few of the more normal critters since they are just nice nature renders.

I am trying to get the rule books finished in hopes of getting them on the market this spring/early summer.
