Hello,  I am wondering if there is a way to get rid of the recent Python scripts that were run?

Yes, you can delete the file that stores this information.
For Windows the path is <Vue_Install_Directory>ApplicationPython.mru
Presumably it will be something appropriately similar on a Mac.
