Subject: easy hair software??

Is there any software that you can use to easily make hair for Poser? Or that can be converted to poser? What do the experts use?

They use standard modelling applications. And poser does have dynamic hair built in, so you can make dynamic hair right from within poser itself.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

I've got Cinema 4d for moddeling, but i haven't tried it for hair, yet. As for poser, I've had no luck yet. I was hoping there was something easier to at least craft the general shape for what I want.

Getting good at your modelling application makes it VERY easy. Preplanning for how you want the uv mapping is also critical. study existing hair products to see how they are done best.

That is a good tutorial, I've had it bookmarked for maybe a year and never actually got around to reading it.

Funny you should ask, I need 5 more beta testers.
Current testers are doing an outstanding job, but a few more will certainly help.

This looks like exactly what I want, the ability to draw the hair shape rather than Dial and drag it in poser.

My thanks to those who have responded.

Philc, are you saying you're developing an app for creating hair?

Oh, no reason....

At first, I thought you were just asking for testers for a new hairstyle.

Anyway....

Very Kewl! :)
