Thank you very much, your links are very helpful.
But i'm still looking for a tutorial of a little different type of Bryce abstract:
shiny looking shapes, distorted reflections - I've read this tutorial once and if I remember right the camera was inside the sphere, but I'm no sure. And now I can't find the link.
Waiting for your help and thanks again.
One of the Original Links you posted, points to an artist named "Jepe" who is still active here on Rendo. I even see some Abstract images. Why not use Site Mail and contact the person?
Here is the link.

What about this tutorial?
You are quite correct. Put the camera inside a large shiny sphere or rugby ball shape, add in a few other odd shapes, add a few light sources inside the sphere, play with the surface textures and light and camera positions. Best to learn by trial and error. Play with metaballs. I have a few objects that are fairly abstract looking in my freebies. Many others are about also.
