Hi 'Rosity Posers. I am looking for another strange item. I need a mechanical bull for an image for a card invitation to a night club happening. If anyone knows of one (cheap or free!0 or is willing to make me one for use in Poser would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Sorry about the first image I can not remove it or edit my first post....not sure why...if a Mod can delete the first image( single rider) or tell me why I can not delete it or edit my words I would appreciate it. The collage is the one I intended to post originally.

Thanks.
BTW I prefer it without saddles if anyone is going to try their modeling skills on this... :)

I have one I started some time ago but its not uv mapped . You can have it if you want.

Quote - Mytilus has one in the store here

Yeah I saw this when I looked around but it has stuff in the package I can't use or don't need (Still using V2) and it has a saddle. Because of all these extras, it is therefore a bit over what I was hoping to pay for something at this time. But I put it in my Wishlist...for later!  :(

I might be able to play with this but on an older mac and do not know how to use the dummied down version of UV Mapper available for it.

If you arent in a big hurry I will map it tomorrow and modify the base so its more cushiony like your pics .

shante ( ) posted Sun, 22 March 2009 at 3:43 AM

Oh Great...I have a bit if time. If you are going to map it is there any way that the individual elements get mapped separately that way I can turn stuff off or render it invisible as needed?
I thank you very much for this. I gotta find the horns now to look like the top image of my samples and I think it will work.
By cushiony do you mean shorter and rounder?

markschum ( ) posted Sun, 22 March 2009 at 10:57 AM

like the last picture you posted.  There was a morphing horn freebie that would be good , I think its still in freestuff.  I did a bunch of material groups for poser materials so hiding anything you dont want is easy.

This is the final version for now .

The thing is uv mapped , and material grouped for bull_hide, handle, piston, piston base
the figure is rigged so the bull  pivots front/back and side/side and turns.
the base cushion is a seperate prop.

The horn is BC morphing horn available HERE  (badc3d)

Thanks very much.
One question (and I hope you don't think me ungrateful) will the body of the thing be able to reduce in size (height) without affecting the rest of the attached items?
Seems a bit tall compared to the tip image in the collage?
I know beggars can't be choosie and though I definitely appreciate this......Always trying to come close to that stupid ideal!  :)
Thanks so VERY MUCH!

markschum ( ) posted Mon, 23 March 2009 at 2:49 AM

my last post seems to have not posted.

sent a pm with download link , and yes the thing can be scaled to about 70% then you need to scale the base as well.

Let me know if it really wont work for you, I may be able to make changes but no promises.

shante ( ) posted Mon, 23 March 2009 at 11:47 AM

So to reduce I can select the body and reduce size on any axis without affecting other parts at all?
That would be GREAT! If that is the case it should be no problem making it work.
I try tonight.....now must go to DC to Italian Consulate for business. (BUMMER!)
Will let you know what happens as soon as I can.
Again, Thanks so very much for doing this for me.

Oh BTW I just want to make sure I understood the instructions for installation.
Everything including the .OBJ file (Geometry?)....of course not PP2...go into same folder in FIGURES folder in Runtime?
