Subject: problem with long curls conforming hair

to start off with i am a newbie so bear with me i have two problems 1. I cannot get the conform to option to come up which means i cannot make any of the p4 figures a conforming figure. How do i go about creating a conforming figure? 2. even when following the tutorials i cannot get the long confoming curls hair to attach to the head of my figure I NEED HELP PLEASE

Ha, I was just checking in fer help myself, but I can say make sure u got Hair selected, and the BODY of it. Just testing here, I bring in the hair, and it appears, but the girl is still the figure selected, and her hip. So I have 2 pick the other figure, which is the hair, and its BODY, and then conform.

finally think i got it right. i either bring in the hair and then choose a figure and add it (with the two check marks) or choose the figure and then add the hair.
