Hi Peeps.

I've finished my homage "posermation" to the movie Sin City and Frank Miller's graphic novels.
This has been a very long haul ,in fact, I've actually forgotten when I started perhaps I was still
breast feeding....:)

I know a lot of you have already seen some earlier work in progress so for that I am truly
thankful and ask you once more to "bite the bullet" and watch the FULL version .

As usual your comments are valuable to me in my learning curve.

I hope you enjoy it.

Hi "artistheat"
Many thanks for taking time out to watch "Family Values" and for your kind words.
I'm glad you liked it it and I love the expression "mini movie" I shall be using that in the future.
My next mini movie will be a sea going ,swashbuckling pirate job.......I can see myself getting into deep water with this because it calls for a "Perfect Storm" scene.....mmmmmmm. I bet this forum will be fed up with my begging letters for help on this one........aaaahhh!
I've been in my movie archives and re-watched  the 1950's "Treasure Island" for inspiration in the old technicolour Walt Disney style......Robert Newton was so great at playing Long John Silver.

Thanks again

Dave

PS Can you share what programs you used, methods and any special tips for others who want to do small scale movies?

Hi Kimberly
Of course I'll share what little knowledge I have......If anyone has any questions I'll be only too happy to help...mmm....if I can.

To answer your first question ...all the animation ,rendering is done in Poser...I started the "mini movie"..using Version 5....then onwards upto V7pro...:)
Some of the fx where done in afterfx, Fxhome products and Particle Illusion....All the editing and sound are done in Premiere pro.
I believe that a small scale movie can be done solely in Poser (any version) it is infact what I see the application for.
One other point worth mentioning if you look at my movie you will see that the editing and pace are fast and perhaps a little furious. I believe that when hobbyists make their epics for others to see you should do your utmost to keep it short and also in my case because actual animation is not really my best point it helps to keep the cam moving about.
Making movies is really my main interest and I find Poser the ideal application for taking your viewers on a magical tour of your thoughts.

Many thanks for kind words and I'm glad you liked my "mini movie".:)

Yes its great.  I think you guys did a great job!  Thanks for sharing some of the programs with me.  I am still confused on things like cars driving and moving scenery but I hope to find out more.

Thanks.
