A lot of the hair in more down to earth styles I like suffer from what I call "tube hair". Usually I can improve the hair by replacing the handpainted diffuse map with real hair photos from a Merchant Resource but what is it that causes the weird tube quality in the transparency... is there a way to fix it with edge blenders or something? Here is a style I like for the natural quality but I don't think I'll buy it because of the hand painted textures and the weird tubing! I have posted the link here because I feel bad pointing out particular artists and in fact given the great price I am sure some people will want to buy this just as it is :) I love the hairstyles of Aprilsvanity and Neftis but I always have to edit the hell out of the textures for the kind of work I do. Please no offense April if you read this, I think you are a fine artist and I have bought very many of your hairs which come in great designs... I just want to maximize my enjoyment of them.I think your designs are excellent but the textures are too stylized for my work.
