he has a nice tutorial on making a mountain sunset too.
(I dunno if he's a beta tester, he might just have access to 7.5 via a maintenance subscription)

Dax Pandhi supplied one of the Example Scenes for Vue 7, and the first image that showed the new Spectral Clouds 2 on e-on's website (check his "Vue 7 - Digital Nature" image) was made by him. He's an official e-on beta tester and I frequently check his gallery. Although I must say that I have the feeling that sometimes he's a little too self-confident ;-) But he's got a lot of talent, definitely.
The new shadow function on clouds look spectacular! The render time for such pictures will be over top. I see some grain on the clouds so I didn't think he use high render settings. :glare: I also want to see some more planet examples.

Well.... The fixed shadows on top of clouds has me sold. I hate buying updates to get things fixed. But what can you do. Might as well get the 7.5 for planets, too.

Quote - Geeze, that is the least exciting feature ever, "Sphere HyperTerrain rocks."
E-on has to do way better than that to get my upgrade money.
What feature do you want added that you will pay for?

Go to the his main deviantart page and you will find the url of his blog. In that blog there are "snippets" and "tutorials". I use quotes because I have never saw anything so deep and technical about Vue (I am sure he is one of E-On beta testers). The video tutorial about desert scene rendering taught me in 27 minutes more than I had learned to date about Vue atmospheres.
After having given a look at his blog contents, I felt crushed by my ignorance about Vue.

Apparently this guy is a beta tester and shows his work done with Vue 7.5. Nice clouds and procedural planet.
