Subject: May 2009 Bryce Challenge - Interiors

As winner of the March/April Challenge, Lown has dropped the gauntlet.

He says:
For the next challenge, I was thinking of something which always gives me a headache everytime I attempt one, an Interior scene! Its also something we dont see many of in the Bryce Gallery (the 3DS Max gallery is full of them!!).

Lots of scope for different genres, "realism",scifi, fantasy etc.
Problems to overcome(lighting being the main one), the modellers amongst us will be happy with all the different stuff to create, the importers will be happy with all that cool content they can import.... everybodys happy...right?...good!

So thats my Idea for the challenge, an Interior Scene.

Rules:
Any style/genre.

Anything goes as far as imports/postwork etc although the usual rules about stating where you got it and what you did apply.

No imported backdrops.

Anything goes as long as it is an Interior Scene, you know, walls, roof etc etc. There can be people, animals, whatever! IBL is of course acceptable as well!

No 2d planes with pictures on them, at least not for the main scene.

The Deadline will be 12 MIDNIGHT ROSITY TIME MAY 31st 2009

Contestants are permitted only one (1) entry only.

**WARNING!!!!!  Anyone posting finished renders in the galleries before the above deadline will be disqualified from this challenge. WIPS are fine as long as they are only posted in this thread.
**
Good luck to everyone!
I will be updating the main rules when I've tallied the votes in this thread:

measjohny: That is down to the challenge setter, Lown. He had the opportunity to request an extension to the 1 month deadline. The challenge is now set I'm afraid.
