Subject: VOB file locking up - can't find bug

Just wondering if anyone out there with Vue 7.4 or 7.5 is having this problem:

I have tested it in both Mac and Windows 7 RC and the same bug exists for this Vue "VOB" file.

What has happened is one of my VOB files is locking the Vue application up after I open it. The program does not crash, but it just freezes it and I have to force Vue 7 to quit. It is only happending with this one VOB file so it may be there is something wrong with the file itself. However, it does load OK into Vue, it just freezes up though after it does so. Other VOB files seem to open fine and work fine. My guess is even though it is loading OK, there must be something wrong with it.

I hate to lose it, but I can start from one of my earlier saves. Just wondering if anyone else has had any strange lockups or freezing with isolated VOB files after installing the 7.4 or 7.5 update? If anyone has other thoughts on what may be going on feel free to share. So far though, best guess is just a bad save or something even though it appear to load the VOB file OK.

Try merging it with a new scene. Saved my pants a few times...;-)
The only thing is you will loose your atmosphere that way.....

Cheers!

Thanks for the tip, I never thought of that and tried it today. It works fine now and does not have a problem. I do have to re-do all my atmosphere as you say, but at least it is saved now. I wonder what causes this sort of issue to begin with, must be a save issue or bug I guess? Anyway, thanks I will use this again if it happens, which I hope is not often.
