Subject: Queue Manager making figure invisible

IsaoShi ( ) posted Sat, 11 July 2009 at 4:53 PM ยท edited Fri, 30 August 2024 at 1:14 AM

I'm testing a piece of furniture - it is a figure - and although it renders fine within Poser Pro (foreground or background), when the same scene is rendered in Queue Manager it is invisible. Everything else shows up.

Does anybody have a clue why this might happen?

I can't show a picture yet, as I'm waiting for the vendor to say it's okay to do so.

Try using the Collect Poser Data Script and Render that File... sounds like a Runtime Permission issue.

Ah, thanks for the possible clue, ratscloset. It appears this is rather a one-off problem.

But you've prompted me to recall that the product I'm testing is in its own new Runtime. That gives me a few things to try out before I report it to SM, including the collect data script. Never used that before!

I'll be back...
