Subject: Is it possible to rotate a brush between brush strokes, for the fancy brushes?

MistyLaraCarrara ( ) posted Tue, 21 July 2009 at 1:30 PM · edited Fri, 08 November 2024 at 4:55 PM

I bought a couple of the hair and fur brushes here at renderosity.

I can't figure out a way to rotate the brush before clicking.  They're odd shapes.

It's hard to make them blend together.

(Photoshop 7)

Thanks.

Cheers!

Press F5 for the brush palette, go to Brush Tip Shape, change the Angle. There's probably a shortcut key, but I don't know what it is.

(This is in CS4, but I'm sure it must be the same in PS7.)

It's the same in P7. Go the the Brushes Palette and click on Brush Tip Shape. There's a rotational thinging in there - you can rotate where you want it :0).

Have you tried making the brush rotation follow the cursor direction?

(This is CS2) under Shape Dynamics, change the angle control from 'Off' to 'Rotation'
